Roth Capabilities Experience A Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, Dr. Roth has 23 years of experience in all the key areas of regulatory and industrial toxicology. Before establishing his own practice, he headed the Corporate Health and Safety Group of the Atlantic Richfield Company. Prior to that, he was the Manager of Toxicology for Atlantic Richfield. Over the course of his career, he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions in toxicology at Atlantic Richfield and the Diamond Shamrock Corporation. Dr. Roth's experience includes: the design, conduct and interpretation of toxicology studies; performance of human health hazard/risk assessments for consumer products, agricultural and industrial chemicals, environmental contaminants, metals, toxic wastes and petroleum products; technical support in toxic tort cases; the development of material safety data sheets, labels and warnings; and both technical and policy advocacy with various government legislative and regulatory bodies. Dr. Roth has chaired industry-wide expert groups that directed health effects testing of numerous materials, including arsenic, fuels, fuel additives, and benzene. He has demonstrable regulatory toxicology experience, having chaired and served on numerous trade association committees including the American Petroleum Institute's Health & Product Stewardship Committee, the Toxicology Committee, the TSCA Issues Group and the American Industrial Health Council's Quantitative Risk Assessment Committee. He has authored multiple technical articles and has given numerous presentations on toxicology methods, risk assessment techniques and legal issues in toxicology.
